Thanks to the Tories, our research institute is shifting to a US Thunderdome-style funding model. Which sucks. This means there are some redundancies coming. Which also sucks. People are being warned a year in advance that their jobs may be going away. Which sucks less than being uncertain or just being let go with no warning. Join a Union.
