It is possible that I typed more characters than strictly necessary just to show of how fast I could type. You know, I was young back then :D
I have a 4000-90, a 4000-105A and a 4000-600A nowadays, but I must admit that I rarely boot them.
Just today, I had to live through this and it hurt a tiny bit:

@hanshuebner@mastodon.social can’t remember the exact machine, he had at least a couple working VAXen in the mediaservice.net domain back in the day. I think we met briefly in person at CCCongress in Berlin in 2000/2001 and then some time after we got back to Italy and you logged into this box remotely while we were watching your session. Anyway, that’s not important. I just wanted to say that you were a huge inspiration when I was a teenage wannabe hacker in the mid 90s. Thanks! PS. I only have a SPARC in my living room and I also rarely boot it. The noise becomes unbearable very quickly and I’d rather not get divorced over it 😅
