One of the biggest challenges for me as a game developer is that there's so many different things that interest me. Sometimes I want to tell a story, sometimes make a puzzle game, and it's usually not appropriate to put everything in a single game. I also worry that fans of the last game might not like the new one if it's an entirely different genre. Wish it was possible to realize more of the ideas I have.
