The radical politics of "life should be good and enriching largely." And the radical morals of "most people are mostly good, most of the time." I used to overthink my positions on things. OK, I still do, but setting aside specifics, it often boils down to those points. Issues feel more clear when you look at that lens, and make sure it's not only applied to your circumstances exclusively.
