Holy hell, last week I had $1,000 of unexpected expenses, and next week we have an unplanned $5k expense. I guess we *should* have planned for it, because it's a surgery we knew was coming up, but yikes, the doctors always described it as a 'simple small surgery' so we didn't think we'd have to cover the entire deductible (which somehow also increased this year). Like, how is anyone staying afloat right now? I'm sure we're not the only ones dealing with this shit?
