@nikitonsky@mastodon.online Highlighting keywords might be a habit picked up from Algol 60, which used a bold typeface to distinguish keywords (yes, compiler technology was that primitive - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stropping_(syntax) ). As LISP shows, there's no need to distinguish keywords.
