@ahelwer@discuss.systems @arianvp@functional.cafe With regard to the USB version of a security key breaking off: Yubico also produces a (somewhat expensive) nano version of the Yubikey which has a very small form factor. That cannot break off, but is also easier to loose I guess.
I'm also somewhat underwhelmed by the number of servers/websites that offer security-key authentication. Seems like TOTP is finally somewhat standard (but still not enough), but only a handful of servers offer security-key authentication AFAIK.

@lightspeed@mstdn.social I think services are skipping security-key authentication and going right to passkeys, which isn't so bad.
