Recently finished @susankayequinn 's Nothing is Promised series (as I promised I would 😏). Really neat structure, with each book handing off to another character, dealing with the ongoing events at ever higher levels. Here's some unordered thoughts: I was blindsided by book 3 containing a delightfully credible physics explanation of just-beyond-real quasiparticle phenomenon. Was not expecting, found myself grinning in wonder while biking around (audiobook version).
