@hydropsyche@ecoevo.social @idzie@kolektiva.social Not good. We’ve had HWA for years and it’s slowly decimating the surrounding wooded areas. The cold winters used to slow them down but that isn’t the case anymore. I’d say about 50% of the hemlocks on my property (7 acres) has it.

@danmccullough@ecoevo.social @idzie@kolektiva.social I'm so sorry. I was hoping maybe adelgids didn't like cold weather. It's really hard watching our forests change from introduced species and climate change.
