RE: https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@yurisizov/116240441023829664 I really hate that this is described as "photo-realistic lighting" as if it's a new lighting mathematical model instead of just "we're feeding the game image into an image generator trained on _something_ else and showing you the result". I've felt like Digital Foundry has been giving dlss too much leeway for a while and their response to this make me lose any faith in their opinions.
