I absolutely adored Animal Well, so I went looking for something similar and I found Rain World. But Christ on a trampoline, this game is hard as hell. And I have noooo idea what I’m doing yet. Fun!

Rain World is brutally uncompromising, but there’s a certain kind of satisfaction in that. If you’re interested in recommendations based on Animal Well, some games with similar puzzle style would be Tunic, Toki Tori 2 and Outer Wilds (be careful with spoilers for those kinds of games)
