I want a term for a common situation but i can't find it. So... It seems there are few posts under vocabulary hashtag. Or I still can't use mastodon properly. Oh well. Language tag is less specific. So there are types of people which attempt into engaging into a conversation / debates / argumentation etc But they have means to use force if they loose, and they intend to use force if they loose. I keep seeing honest people being tricked into a conversation with those ehm tricksters and having troubles after. But explaining why arguing is pointless face to face isn't my strong side. So here's a meme. Don't argue with stupid people and you will be happy it says. I say don't argue with violent people and you will be alive. Wordbaiting? I wished I had short word or a couple of words to explain it quickly and neutrally. Loyalty probing? Occupied. Loyalty baiting? Too. They are provokers but it is too wide. #vocabulary #language

I was told it is Provocation. But it doesn't feel right. I think it is close and its shade. Were kings of the past provocateurs? Maybe some of them were but most of them wouldn't stop with conversations and logic. They didn't mind to crush skulls if logical argument didn't give much results. There are people like that right now. They try words to get what they want and if they didn't get it they use violence. Sometimes it's not wise to argue with a policeman on the spot. They could be understandable, listen person's arguments and maybe stop on that and leave or they could make a dick move. But how can i say it less explicit? Don't argue with that policeman he is a who. #vocabulary #language
