@cairobraga@toot.cairobraga.com @luka@sonomu.club @yaxu@post.lurk.org Obvs I don’t speak for all Africans but my reading of Dery’s essay is that for an oppressed group (hardly applicable to Italians) that has been ritually exterminated, the ability to imagine a future at all is a liberation. The sci-fi trappings of that future are a different matter.
