Christianity is not a religion that can be taken seriously and still be respected. According to Catholic dogma, for example, Anne Frank is being tortured for all eternity, while Hans Frank has to suffer for some long but ultimately limited period of time and then will be rewarded for "accepting Jesus as his Lord and Saviour" and getting some lipid rubbed on his forehead by getting to spend an eternity in a realm of pure bliss. This is deeply and fundamentally evil. It cannot be argued about: any limited quantity, divided by infinity, approaches zero. This here pope now - sure, he is far better than most popes so far have been, but one decent man cannot change a profoundly evil and anti-human mad fairytale.
