He's one of very few Latinos who can produce those movies and secure national distribution because he's established, capable, and semi-independent in Hollywood's big bowl. There's a huge, largely untapped, currently maximized market for pulpy Latino action and comedy and plenty of solid talent to make it happen in every medium, but mainstream industries are focused primarily on the interests and preoccupations of Jewish and mulatto lesbians and transsexuals.
