@lyokanthrope@blahaj.zone @lina@vt.social im a lil sus if it wasnt there from the beginning, i feel it can too easily be used as a carrot on a stick. Federation can be an issue if they don't start with it in mind.

@sammypanda@aus.social @lina@vt.social i don't know the full details of it other than the dev has stated it's being built with it in mind, but it's not quite there yet. the client already supports connecting to different instances, at the very least.
