@bermudianbrit@mastodon.online Um...Have you tried Just Press Record? I kind of waver between that and the stock voice memos app, but I've never really looked at the bit rate of what I'm recording on the phone.

@SapphireRose91@tweesecake.social @bermudianbrit@mastodon.online JPR either records as lossless (wav) which is integer, or m4a, which is AAC but I'm unsure if it can handle the technical floats provided by that. Or if it lets you select float wavs, but those are huge.
