"Sing us a song You're the piano man" Plenty of piano players don't sing. I don't necessarily believe in "A Jack of All Trades is a Master of None" but you're assuming a LOT by the fact this piano man good enough to perform in public can carry a tune in a bucket. I think Joel and his friends know that and are heckling the piano man until the song ends (and they're kicked out of the bar)
