And I'd hazard a guess that the “informal” trail map (of trails that are marked in some way, but not part of the official trail network [anymore]) is at least as big again. Dashed black lines on the swisstopo map, sometimes partly interrupted, often promise adventure. Very common in Ticino and often spectacular! (and sometimes a bit breakneck)
