The point is, that these women on this picture are not nowadays allowed to do what they did in the 70s. Even if it were only five women in the whole country who were dressing like this, they were free to do so. They would not be free to do so today.
So I wonder, if I misunderstood your post? Or was it just a random thought, not really connected to the original post?

@theVedek@chaos.social @marcas@mastodon.ie @gavinisdie@masto.ai @MeanwhileinCanada@ohai.social YMMV, but personally I feel if the privileged few apply different standards to themselves than they do on the masses (and not just behind closed doors), it's even more wrong than otherwise, what ever the law. After all, they're not ready to follow it itself.
