Tried #trackmania yesterday/today and it was reaaaaalllllllly cool! But then I found out you're allowed to play like 10 maps in the "free-to-play" version, and if you want to play anything else, you'd need to buy an yearly subscription for ~20 bucks!! And the best part is: the maps they give you for weekly events are 100% community build, and the company behind it rarely builds maps itself!! This is just corporate greed at it's finest, but what else do you expect from an game coming from an studio under #ubisoft supervision? Espc. because only a few years back there was two options with an cheaper 10 buck option as well as an 3-year plan that also saved you alot. I fucking have adhd, I cant just throw out 20 bucks for a game a year that I play on-and off maybe a handfull of weeks a year bc of hyper-fixation + burnout.... -.- So I guess I just keep watching #Wirtual vids xD....
