In the U.S., schools crudely teach basic facts of life when students are about 10 or 12 years old. My fourth grade teacher, the only male on faculty at my rural school, had the distinct honor of leading the boys' section. He invited us to write down our questions on pieces of scratch paper. When his lecture was done, he read our questions and answered them aloud. I asked one based on a phrase he used that I didn't recognize. "What is homosexuality?" #LGBTQIA #Queer #Pride
