I just realized that the Netflix / Australia / New Zealand 2018 adaptation of Journey to the West has been dubbed in Finnish, so I'm watching it for language practice 🤣 I knew it had been highly criticized for whitewashing but damn - they're supposed to be in China and literally all the villagers are white, it's really unbelievable. And of course the main characters are either white or Asian but not Chinese. So it hurts to watch - and to support by watching - but I've been having so much trouble finding anything I want to watch in Finnish that I will give it a go.
