This is an amazing idea. It's nice to read good news. UK is going to have its first effectively smoke free generation. It would be an uphill battle to do the same in the US, but maybe there's a similar economic argument to make -- the health effects of smoking are very expensive, and the government bears a chunk of that. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/04/21/world/europe/uk-smoking-ban-2009.html
