@mos_8502@studio8502.ca I'm not sure I agree with that. I think Swift is a fantastic language, although I wish they'd make improvements to the compiler. I think SwiftUI is much more problematic. Good idea on paper, awful in practice.

@JetForMe@geekstodon.com Swift is a fine language as far as it goes. But it didn't have any need to exist as an Apple product. Objective-C was working fine, and it kept out a lot of shitty programmers who had no business polluting a good platform.
