#AgeVerification has been getting a lot of flak for fear of personal information leaks or big-brother surveillance. Now, here is a lay person wondering if the open-source solution that the EU is developing, might dispel such concerns, assuming it will work as advertised at https://ageverification.dev/ (Whether age verification will be imposed on the right portfolio of online services is another matter and I'm not asking this question.)
