When we say that unfortunately NVDA does not match JAWS in many areas of Microsoft Office, we should point to specific examples as well. I have Word files that contain edit boxes where users are supposed to write content. In NVDA there is no quick way to locate these edit boxes. Even with the MS Word Accessibility add-on, finding them is still very difficult and time consuming. But in JAWS they are easy to locate and navigate between. For example, in Quick Keys mode, which creates a virtual view of the document, you can move between them simply by pressing E or SHIFT+E. The same situation applies to sections in a Word document. In NVDA, locating sections and moving between them is extremely difficult. In JAWS there are several ways to do this, including using S and SHIFT+S in Quick Keys mode. If NVDA is going to be used more widely in professional and educational environments, support for Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook really needs to become stronger and noticeably better. @NVAccess
