@vga256@mastodon.tomodori.net in the early days I wished I could afford one, but I couldn’t. So I soldered a homebrew Covox together with a bunch of resistors. And then tried to find any game that would support it. Besides just playing MOD files I downloaded off BBSs.

@rvdbijl@oldbytes.space amazing. i wish i had known the covox was such a simple device when i was a kid - i would have absolutely built one. (instead i drooled over the Disney Sound Source ads found in my game boxes)
