@zhcet@mastodon.design Where did the “old” designers go? Was there an extinction event that I missed? :D
Is the dilution so strong? It should not take that many people to lead, oversee, and teach. And there is little pro software compared to mobile. You would think it should be enough of experienced designers to cover the field.

@mrudokas@mastodon.social I don’t have a single answer but yes dilution, but also more senior designers ending in some middle management position, some having moved away from interface design, and many in that niche having found their place working on existing products/at established companies. More specifically with Affinity though, I’m quite sure though the last place you’ll find people with this expertise is Canva…
