ha, turns out I got a 12-month free trial of Google AI Pro with my Pixel 10 phone I absolutely don't give a fuck about any of the Gemini AI stuff in there but it does come with 5 TB of data storage so I wonder how feasible it is to use it as some sort of object storage nah, the second I use it for Fediverse uploads I'd definitely risk banning my Google accountupload a large enough disk image, possibly encrypted, and mount it from there, but it would require the client would be able to only upload and change ranges and not upload the whole disk every time I make a change in the filesystem
