The top and bottom of the cube are squares, 8 edges, the top and bottom of the octahedron are triangles, 6 edges, and the edges connecting the the top and bottom are.... oh wait, there are two of them from each vertex, hmm let me count". @robinhouston@mathstodon.xyz
