I don't know who you are, so I can't say if they are hateful or not, but "Controversial political topics" tells me that most likely yes "Also, what does my instance have to do with anything." Oh, you mean the instance where we are now at the *second* fash aligned mod (I just saw there is a third one, nice) "What's next? Fat shaming? Shaming my hair color? How mature." uhhh, no, and using the victim card won't make it out here, but I mean, if that's what you want to hear, if you are wearing a MAGA hat I will shame you, if you think being a right wing apologist is okay, I will shame you, If you are trying to keep queer and trans people away from you (as one of the Fosstodon mods tried to do with their filters) I will shame you, and lastly, if you think FLOSS should be apolitical, I will shame you, the reason why FLOSS is still a thing is because of politics "noo, what do you mean the community driven software licensed to protect user's and developer's rights is political 😭😭"
