Something i should have done 4 years ago. Drivers have been parking in a no parking zone across the street from my place. inevitably, they block traffic, as my street is barely an alley. Parkers definitely block trucks, which honk up a storm. It's always been no parking, but because the sign is on the other side of a tree, drivers convince themselves it's ok. they know better, but plausible deniability is something we indulge for ourselves, not just something the government plays at. I finally submitted a 311 to put up a sign on the pole right next to the spot. In less than FIVE days, SFMTA had a worker out putting up a sign. In the last two days, I've seen only two cars there, and only one was a walkaway. that dude only parked there only about 45 minutes.
