@scarlet@chaos.social Interesting. I (by accident) got mine in IRR - had ordered Titan Gray. It's less green-ish, not too techy and especially not mil-ish patterns. Also I just checked and saw that the Modular 30 SL is even more "hiking-ish". Btw. what did you get for yourself? Did you walked through the shopping list I gave you :blobfox3cevil:

@lindazepam@estrogen.network I got the TT Tac Pouch 5 and a couple of other bits, including the modular belt and I'm going to try the security pro holster to carry my multi-tool, phone, pen, and torch around at EMF. Also recently bought the Leatherman Raptor Rescue for my belt, because I do need to carry shears when tying people up. :3

@scarlet@chaos.social and as you may have seen, I scaled up and then down again - especially when it comes to tools and medic foo. It was "just too much" and last year I put a postit in every bag and marked on it, what item of the packing thing has been used. Then I reviewd it and hell was there a lot to scale down on ~4.5kg in total. The small medic thing? Gets the job done and still includes some things I hope to never need. The tool thing? What do I really repare in the field? Laptops - Glasses (especially them), etc. When doing work? Sure I now have the space for adding things, but they get packed "as an addition" and not as "yea, thats now in there forever". Jana's back is thanking me for that. All big universal keys? Sure when traveling, otherwhise the 8-9mm trainkey does it together with the basic 35€ knive. The thing to learn is, when do compromise and when not. Still the packing cubes are verry good, especially in combination with them not being hard shelled and velcroed in.
