@rodolforg@mastodon.online @knoppix95@mastodon.social @signalapp@mastodon.world I can't speak to Qt's internals, but its "external" attributes seem quite sane and usable to me. I can't think of anything that's been done in the past decade that I'd call particularly usable, other than that. There's such a slavish attention to surface aesthetics that they have really clobbered usability. GTK dialog boxes are very frustrating. I just want to be able to enter a folder path, because I know exactly where I want to go. I don't want to faff about with pointing and clicking. GTK does let you get an actual address bar when you hit Ctrl+d, but it's kind of flaky, at least with GTK3 in GIMP3.
