just found a closet stash of (totally legal since i own the original CDs of course) burned audio CD-R's from the late 90s/early 2000s with black sharpie labels 💿💿💿

wow so many of us were so diligent about backing up our purchased music collections in those days and only sharing those CDs with friends who also owned the originals!
