@soph@grrl.me The sad part of all this is that even this level of piratical greed won’t be enough to pay for the infrastructure the hyperscalers want to build for training new generations of models that won’t get them what they promised: AGI that might actually makes these gadgets useful (and even more dangerous than what they’re giving us now).
