@soph@grrl.me My employers have started restricting cost on a monthly basis. One of my colleagues is having to relearn how to code.
This is going to happen a lot more. The companies who are most into it will restrict use because of cost. And still expect the same performance improvements that they always did (and never got).
Those who have become totally reliant on it will die. Good.

I know I hit my 100% (which we have no reason to stop at) by asking Opus-4.7 5 things (in a month). At some point I'm sure this will change and we'll simply use deepseek locally (or whatever is better at the time) and never pay another dime for cloud based AI.
