Yeah, the wild thing about Ed Zitron's reporting is that he's usually doing his math from either best-case or at the very least, very generous terms. He's typically pointing out that when you look at the actual numbers, the financials are literally *impossible* even when you give AI companies every benefit of the doubt.
If 8-9x is assuming the people running things are otherwise competent, outside of making an obviously disastrous investment, then 40-150x feels about right when you account for the people who actually run these companies.
