@sean@mastodon.me.uk Yep, I guess PHP has always been pragmatic. Used it back in the late '90s all through the '00s, for putting a web "face" to my bioinformatics research, and it was easy for a scientist like me to pick it up. Even got to co-author one of the first books on the language :-)
