my personal haul from the plant sale included a native willow, a neat native Californian mint that I'm hoping will like it on the coast, the vibrant purple Tradescantia pallida, and a new begonia
priced at about half what you'd spend at a garden center or box store -- thank you, master gardeners, beautifying our community with high quality low cost plants

@sarae@ecoevo.social plus you got a little “strawberry begonia” which is really a saxifraga stolonifera. It sends out delicate pink runners with new baby plants at the ends, and can become a lovely ground cover in shady parts of the garden. ❤️ plus when it flowers it is fairyland for days.
