@Teri_Kanefield@mastodon.social This war is another step in the US's suicide as a superpower. After World War II, hostile countries became US allies. After the collapse of the Eastern Bloc, more countries became US allies. It was a political, economic, and commercial alliance. Trump is destroying it. He's finding new allies in the Middle East because they gave his family billions. Not the US, but his family. Trump destroyed the old alliance because he's convinced the US is so powerful it needs no one. And this war shows its weakness.
