@bikejourno@ciclista.social WTF!? Italy and Iran are not even in the same association! Italy is in the UEFA and Iran in the AFC ... If Iran were to be disqualified, another AFC member would take their place ... and not a UEFA team. That is not how it is working! But since we're discussing: 1992 Yugoslavia was disqualified from the Euro as a result of the breakup of the country and the ensuing warfare. If we disqualify Iran because of the war - wouldn't we have to do the same for the USA as well?
