@anthrazit Thank you for reaching out, Andreas. I'm afraid I'm not qualified to give you many insights on Atami. I only spent half a day there. It seems you are staying in the city rather than passing through, as I did. Will Atami be your basecamp as you explore other areas nearby? You're so close to Fuji, Hakone, Shizuoka, and well, the whole Tokyo area with a short train ride.
