@LostInCalifornia@spinster.xyz Alas, I suspect this is to distract from other matters. Not that I don't welcome his arrest (nobody should be above the law) but I doubt he's the only person of status who's been up to no good. We're all taking bets on whether he'll fess up and dob others in, or he'll be Epsteined while in prison to keep the secrets secret.

@KeepTakingTheSoma@spinster.xyz Could be. Or could be the crown knows it needs to allow it given public sentiment. (I was watching "England's Traitor King" yesterday about Edward's correspondence with Nazi Germany, and how he got a pass from Churchill, so I admit I may be jaded at the moment.)
