Yes it was grown outdoors but my property is covered with tall poplar trees so my plants didn't get enough sun. I am told you can get up to a pound of bud per pot plant-- I got maybe a quarter of that yield.
BUT-- what I got is GOOD, ONE-HIT POT-- and enough to last me for decades!

@Dave_Goldsmith@mastodon.scot yeah made similar experiences. Even with a very basic grow setup you just end up getting enough weed for years and even if it doesn't look like "Cali weed", it can be extremely nice
