@oberonsghost@aus.social I recall a story from some years ago about two hijab-wearing ladies nattering away in a bus and being told by an irritated fellow passenger to speak English. "We're in Wales dear - and it's Welsh".
Possibly apocryphal, but I do hope it was true.
