It’s a sign of just how engrained ultra-nationalism is in western liberals that they don’t even consider that people with different ideological beliefs are automatically on the same “side” as them just because of national alliance alignment.
It’s not infighting because we aren’t on the same side

I’m say we are on the same side. Nazis and fascists are unilaterally not tolerated as far as I have seen. We’ve got so much more in common than what divides us, but if this how some people on Lemmy want to spend their time, then I’m not going to stop them. Every person in this thread who either responded or downvoted has assumed my points of view just because of my instance and I don’t think that’s a smart way to try and grow an actually revolutionary new internet platform.
