Basically Devuan is Debian without systemd. Stop.
MxLinux is:
- Debian 13 based
- with or without systemd
- you can install on hd or USB with persistence
- mxtools: you can try to install on other Debian distro but in MX are pre-installed
- kernel for old and new hardware (ahs flavour)
IMHO MxLinux has better daily-driver experience
