@b0rk @jasonkarns Many years ago I was working on an experimental branch I didn't want to expose to the larger team yet. I knew it would be controversial. I also was flipping between a machine at the office and a machine at home. IIRC I used this to keep the two machines aligned as to latest changes. Eventually I did push the branch to the normal upstream. I'm running of a 10 year old memory, so treat accordingly.
